About me

Hey there! I’m Claire: avid reader, pretty good first baseman, and 100% the person who will ask to pet your dog in the park. I’m a copywriter based in the Washington, D.C. area, and I’m all about finding words that work. In an average week, I write about 8,000 of them. That’s roughly one “War and Peace” a year. And that’s just the ones my computer will count for me—my Moleskine does not yet have this feature. Some of those words end up on NPR. Some are billboards by the highway. A few thousand are tucked away in short stories and a desk-drawer draft of a novel. I’m the buddy you can always bounce ideas off of and I live for a good brainstorming session. My glove is always up and ready for an out-of-left-field solution and, somehow, I always have a pen.
